SOC–Sentimental Journey

2014 March 12

Happy Wednesday everyone!  We have a new challenge over in The Sisterhood of Crafters!  Our newest sister, Diane is our hostess for this wonderful challenge as we take a Sentimental Journey!  The challenge is to use a sentiment as the main focal point on your card/project.

So hey guys, you know all those gelli prints I made last week for my eP blog post….well, perfect opportunity to use them, don’t ya think?

So I grabbed a Distress Stain-ed tag and those lovely gelli prints and decided to use Stephanie Ackerman’s stamp which I stamped several times.  I stamped it onto the green stained tag, and several times onto the book paper gelli prints which were then fussy cut and glued onto the stamped tag.  Easy – peasy!

Pretty bright, energetic and it can go to a guy or a gal, which is why I left the inside blank – to be filled in later depending on what I need!

Now head over to The Sisterhood of Crafters to check out what the rest of the girls created – you are sure to be inspired to play along!!!!!  You’ll get all the details of this fun challenge and we hope you’ll play along with us.  Can’t wait to see what you create!!!!

Until next time……

Micki I can not believe you hand cut that all!! I was wondering how you got all the different prints/designs inside the letters.   You always have the most amazing projects.  That card is so bright and cheerful how can the receiver not smile?? LOVE IT!!

Really Cool!  Fun colors (screaming SUMMER to me — or maybe it's because I'm S.O.S. — So Over Snow) and that is an EXCELLENT sentiment!  Like what you did with the letters. I'm big on cutting things out since it often adds a ton to the visual impact.  Hoping the downhill slide into the weekend is a pleasant one for you.
