Tiny Yawns…..

2013 August 30

Yay, TGIF and a 3-Day weekend for those of us in the U.S. to boot!!!!  Sorry I'm late posting this.  Had planned on saving a draft last night and then scheduling the post but by the time I got in, it was way past my bed time.  Not to mention that setting up tables in 102 degree weather (no breeze even) will literally drain the energy right out of a person.  Got up this morning at 4 a.m., set up and went to work.  Hubby and a friend are manning the garage sale and I believe the last time I checked the heat index was well over 105.  I sheepishly admit that for once I am very glad to be at work.  Tomorrow I get to sleep in – get to sleep until 6 a.m.

Last weekend, I woke up on Saturday at 3:45 a.m. because my co-worker and friend had been in light labor the day before at work.  I'm guessing I was anxious for her and that's why I woke up so early.  (Yes, Hudson arrived shortly after I woke up)  Since I was up so early and was going to visit mom and baby at the hospital later that day I needed a quick card.  Sweet N Sassy Stamps to the rescue….

This little cutie elephant is from Baby Circus Clear Stamp set and the sentiment, which was printed out on regular copy paper which was adhered to scrap card stock is from the Baby Blessings Digital Stamp set.  The papers are from Graphic 45's French Country Patterns and Solids paper pad.

A quick and easy card.  And on that note, my break is over so I better get back to work.  One more day of garage sale and then it's over, yay! Tomorrow I'll be sharing my gelli plate fun over on the eP blog along with a project made from some of those prints.  Hope to see you over there!

Have a wonderful weekend…….be safe.  Until next time.

    CUTE!

I can't wait to see what you do with your Gelli plate (I'm seriously thinking of "upgrading" to the 8×11 one!)!! I have plans to pull my Gelli plate out this weekend too! (if I still have any energy after packing off DH and youngest kiddo EARLY Sun morning!!)
