One more Birthday
We’ve got one more birthday girl this week to finish up the summer birthdays. Emma’s birthday is Sunday but the birthday party will be tomorrow for both her and Abby, who just celebrated her second birthday this past Monday.
Emma is now old enough to appreciate the cards and she’s definitely at an age where this Karen Middleton stamp from Sweet Pea Stamps reminds me of her.
All the papers are from Me & My Big Ideas “Celebrate” pack (retired). The pack not only has paper, but coordinating die cuts. The coloring was done using copics. 
I edged the panel with Broken China Distress Ink. Looking at the coloring, I could have definitely done a better job, especially in blending the blue background.
BUT I wanted to create a quick card, which is something that doesn’t seem to come naturally for me. Including coloring, the card took me less than an hour to put together and that my friends, is a miracle. Now, just ask me how long it took to ensure I got all the supply links and typing up this post…… and that is another matter, lol.

That’s it for me today, we’ve had mandatory overtime at work so I’ve been going in early before work and staying after. It’s definitely starting to wear on me. I am really glad it’s Friday.
