Melt Art–Melt Down…….

TAG HOP_ BE THANKFUL V2.0

It’s all the same, at least it was for me last night.   I ruined my project for the eP Blog Hop last night.  Did I mention hot wax all over the table top, floor and yes, even on the supplies.  That would be the “melt down”.   After the tears and several  innovative phrases,  a Kahlua & Cream I walked away from the mess.

Sadly – obviously I do not have a project to share with you guys  BUT, you guys definitely want to check out the rest of the E-TEAM.  Once again, their creations are awe inspiring!

So, head over to the eP Blog and be Thankful that you’re Thursday didn’t end up like mine and if you had a day like I did…. cheer up, you’re not alone!  Melt down obviously released the stress since I can see the humor in it this morning.

Oh and one more thing…. I am extremely thankful for YOU guys Smile.

Until next time…..

My whole Thursday was a melt down…wonder what was in the air?  Was much better by day's end but very frustrating while it all unraveled throughout the day.  Maybe you can still make your project but it just won't be part of the bh.  I don't work with melt art or melting of anything so I'm always curious what others are making.

sorry about the mess, that you had to clean up, ugh. i'm glad that i'm not the only one who ends up ruining projects,. even without the additon of wax which in my case would guarantee disaster each and every time. and probably a house fire as well.  i like everything i've seen you make so i'm sure the next project will be spectakular.

No worries, I have had my share of disasters in the craft area. I think there is a full moon which can really play havoc with it all. Have some Halloween candy and enjoy the weekend!!

Oh that sounds terrible and messy!  Reminds me of when I could not get the plastic wrap off of a bottle of Distress Reinker and then the entire bottle cap of a red shade came flying off and landed all over my light tan carpet!  Yeap, I may have used a couple of your phrases!  Have a great weekend!

Sorry to hear about your meltdown! I know that hot glue and I don't go together well, but I have yet to try wax.  If ever you work up the courage to give it another go, I'd love to see what you create!

I am so sorry to hear about the mess :(   Accidents do happen but as long as you are okay and did not get burned by the wax.  Sit back, have another Kahlua and cream ( try it with a bit of amaretto mixed in = a Toasted Almond).  and enjoy the weekend.

So sorry to hear about your 'melt down'.  I'm sure you were working on something wonderful for us.  But sometimes we even have to be grateful for the rough spots and I know something even more wonderful will somehow come out of the mess that occurred – whether its a new idea or a way to re-purpose what happened.  Something will happen with it for you.

Sorry to hear about your melt down, some times things happen we have no control over but we end up in with some thing we weren't expecting.  Maybe not right away but when we least expect it.  Hang in there, good will happen.

Like Wow…sorry to hear about your day. I just ran across your name in a blog i was looking at, thought I would check out yours.  You are not going to believe this, I love to make cards, and my favorite or should I say my only drink is  Kahlua and Cream….WOW…small world.  We crafters often have days were nothing goes right yet that seems to be the cards everyone likes best….
