Autumn Scarecrow
I love holidays, as in a three day weekend. But in a perfect world, the holiday would always fall on a Friday because when it falls on a Monday it totally throws me off. I’m thinking it’s Tuesday when – obviously – it’s Wednesday. No biggie, hey I’ll take a holiday any way I can get it.
The weather has been phenomenal. I’m talking upper 40’s at night and lower 70’s during the day but best of all, no or very low humidity. Perfect!!! With the crispness of cooler weather in the air, football on TV, I’m definitely thinking Fall. And scarecrows:
This cute scarecrow is from Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff’s Halloween Doodles digital stamp set.
I used the craft knife to cut slits to pull the raffia through.
And I also pulled out and used my Martha Stewart Scary Fence punch.
To be honest, the card is not what I had in mind when I first started – but then that is more of the norm than not. Still turned out ok.
