Butterfly Fairy Frame and venting…..
Howdy friends! Just poppin’ in to share this Sweet Pea Stamps project with you guys (and still trying not to melt).
NOTE: Apparently all of the sudden Live Writer and my blog don't want to play anymore, Wednesday night I was still able to blog using Live Writer – Thursday night I am getting error messages. So frustrating especially since I haven't messed with any settings.)
Some time ago, Michaels had their plain wooden frames at 50% off, which ended up costing 50 cents. Too good not to pick up a couple.
Only instead of a photo, I framed one of Karen Middleton’s fairies:
This fairy is from from Sweet Pea Stamps Plate #138. For the frame, I sanded it down a bit and then used Distress Stains – loooovvveee those. I dug out my Butterfly Ballet template from The Crafters Workshop and had some fun with Sunflower Sparkle Perfect Pearls Mist.
The butterflies were punched from my alcohol inked glossy paper scraps and some Glimmer Misted card stock:
Spritzed the flower too but it’s kind of hard to see in the picture.
And a close up of the image:
I’ve been neglecting checking the challenges out there so I took an hour to check a couple out and found that my Fairy Frame will fit the following challenges:
- Craft Us Crazy: Anything Goes
- Crafts and Me #44: Add a flower
- Flutter By Wednesdays #163: Open Challenge (must use butterfly, fairy or angel)
- Penny’s Challenges #58: Alter It
- Gingerloft Challenge #22: Make It Sparkle
That does it for me tonight. Be sure to head over to Sweet Pea Stamps and take advantage of the awesome sale happening right now!
Until next time….
