On to my card….. I decided to use the little rocker from Plate #113:
I colored her with Copics and then almost ruined the card because I was experimenting with the background. (That’s what lack of sleep will do….. I get daring when I really know better). I started out by cutting a mask of the little rocker image, covering her and applying Worn Lipstick Distress Ink with a blending tool over the whole image panel. It wasn’t what I was looking for, especially close to the image edges. So I took a sponge and yellow Pan Pastels (artist pigment chalk) and went over everything. I like it…..
But then I had the bright idea to use Sakura Soufflé pens …. not what I was looking for! Yes, I should have stepped away …… instead I went with it:
Still, this image is so funky, sassy and was so much fun to color…. I decided to add an old discontinued metal clip sentiment from Making Memories.
